 How long will it take to receive my order?

All items are handmade at the time of your order. Please allow up to 4 weeks before your item ships.  During this time, I will provide progress updates, via e-mail. Contact me prior to ordering if you need an item fast and we will let you know if it can be done.

WHAT IS MY BELT SIZE?

Your belt size is not the same as your pants or waist size. Your belt size is usually 1 or 2 inches larger than your pants or waist size.

When ordering a belt on-line, the best way to assure the proper fit is to measure one of your existing belts that fits you well. To do this, carefully stretch out the belt on a flat surface, and using a measuring tape, measure from:

Leather Care and Maintenance

Your handcrafted leather holster, belt or accessory is made from natural range bred steer hides and may contain natural range markings which adds to the beauty and character of the item. Leather products require a minimal amount of maintenance and if cared for properly can provide many years of service.

Clean your leather product approximately once a month with glycerin or saddle soap. Work the soap into a lather, apply to the leather and wipe off. DO NOT saturate or submerge in water! Apply a light coat of conditioner, such as Lexol to replace the leathers natural oils. DO NOT use Neats foot oil. It will make the leather too soft.

Shoulder Holster Fit

I have learned (the hard way!) that shoulder holsters are not one size fits all and should be fit to the wearer like a tailored suit, with some room to let it out after too many donuts!!!!

Starting just below the large vertebra, at the base of your neck (fig 1) use a tape measure to measure the distances over and under your shoulder to approximately 3 inches below your armpit (fig 2). Provide us with the measurements in the measurements section of the listing.

Holster Fit

UNLOAD YOUR HANDGUN and insert it into the holster. If the holster has a thumb break strap attempt to snap it closed. If the fit is too tight you need to hold the UNLOADED handgun by the grip and push it down while pulling on the strap with your other hand. If you holster does not come with a thumb break strap, perform the above procedure by pulling on the body of the holster. Repeat as necessary.

It is normal for the inside of a lined or unlined holster to become scratched during the break in process. The scratches will provide a custom fit for your handgun.

Finally, if your holster, or accessory is fitted with a tension screw you will need to adjust it during the break in process and recheck the tension.
